Danyel Benoit joins the WEMO Sales Team as Vice President Business Development for the Canadian market

As of January 1st, Danyel Benoit has joined the WEMO Sales team for WEMO Special Projects. Danyel has 30+ years of experience in high-end sheet metal fabrication solutions and will be responsible for further business development and expansion in Canada. We are very pleased with the arrival of our new colleague, whose vast knowledge, experience and drive to achieve the highest possible performance in the industry perfectly fit our strategy to strengthen our presence in the Canadian market.

Just like the European market, the Canadian market is also undergoing strong development in the automation of sheet metal production. This process is further strengthened by shortages on the labor market, the desire for short delivery times, production per order and flexibility in the production process. All this to guarantee a firm competitive position in terms of the lowest cost per unit of product.

Danyel’s extensive experience in developing new and existing markets at various companies such as the BLM Group, Danobat and Amada make him a perfect fit for WEMO.

“With the start of Danyel we begin a next chapter to further our development of the North American market. A market that is of great importance to WEMO and fits with our  planned expansion for the coming decades, with emphasis on growing our sales and services. I look forward to working closely with Danyel and bringing great solutions to our customers.”
René van Zon, Vice President Business Development, North American Market

WEMO acknowledges the potential in the Canadian market and has perfect solutions for industries like elevator panels, shelving, electrical enclosures, wall and ceiling panels, steel doors but also Automotive and HVAC applications.

“I am truly excited to join the WEMO team! I look forward to further establishing their presence in Canada by introducing you to some of the most cost effective fully automated production lines in the sheet metal fabrication market!”
