WEMO reinforces strategic positioning in the North American market
In October 2019, during the Fabtech in Chicago, WEMO presented their automated Panel Bending Line and visitors confirmed that there is a huge need for automation in sheet metal processing for the US market. Initial growth plans for the US market were taking shape after the Fabtech exhibition but Covid-19 created restrictions in realizing these ambitions. Luckily confidence in the economy has now returned and exponential market growth is expected. To facilitate this growth, WEMO is taking the next steps in developing an infrastructure in the US Market
The demand for sheet metal processing solutions dealing with very high output and more flexibility within a product family is enormous. In order to support this rapid growth and provide customers with the best technical service, we are taking the next step and entering into a partnership with AMI-service and MetalReady Machinery. AMI-service is already servicing the Installed Base that we have built up in the past 22 years in the US market and new strategic partner MetalReady Machinery will further shape the pro-active market approach from a commercial perspective and help customers, in close cooperation with WEMO headquarters, to find a solution that best fits the customer’s business case.
